Refunds of Donations Policy
Overview
At The Change Up we are deeply grateful for the generosity of our supporters and donors. We strive to ensure that every donation is used efficiently and effectively to achieve our mission. However, we understand that there may be occasions when a donor needs to request a refund. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds of donations will be considered.
Refund Conditions
We will consider refund requests under the following conditions:
Accidental Donation: If a donation was made accidentally or in error.
Duplicate Donation: If a duplicate donation was made due to a technical issue or user error.
Unauthorized Donation: If a donation was made without the donor’s permission.
Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
Contact Us: Submit your refund request within [number of days, e.g., 30] days of the donation date. Provide the following information:
Your full name
The date of the donation
The amount donated
The reason for the refund request
Any transaction ID or reference number associated with the donation
Submit Request: Send your request to Contact@thechangeup.org
Review: Our team will review your request and respond within 10 business days. We may contact you for further information if necessary.
Decision: If your refund request is approved, the refund will be processed using the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
